gap year shenanigans

After graduating from my bachelors, I was kind of lost of what to do next (honestly i still am). I had just received my offer for masters in melbourne (but it commences around July) so I had about 6 months worth of free time before I began my masters. My mom suggested that I go on a backpacking trip during then, around Asia.

That's when I started planning the whole trip so that I could meet my family back in Myanmar as well on this trip.

The final itinerary I decided on was Japan -> South Korea -> Taiwan -> Hong Kong -> Vietnam -> Cambodia -> Laos -> Malaysia -> Singapore -> Thailand -> Myanmar.

I left around January 15th and ended in Yangon, Myanmar around April 15th as well.

Overall, it was a great experience; I met some of my high school friends and it was great catching up with them. I also met new people along the trip as well.
